CHALLENGE

The aim of the project was to provide medical services via a 100% virtual clinic. The solution covers all aspects of the virtual clinic: communications, clinical evaluations, script and lab management, billing, and customer service. As a result, doctors and patients are able to save time and money.

SOLUTION

The customer is a healthcare startup specialized in endocrinology under the guidance of practiced US Clinician and the Owner of US clinic.

The telehealth system covers all ‘standard’ clinic workflow processes and brings new benefits of online format usage both for patients and doctors. The effectiveness of the prescribed treatment is improved as well due to a comprehensive study of patients’ medical history using built-in questionnaires.

The platform is HIPAA compliant to meet US healthcare high-quality standards. The solutions have all needed features for easy registration, payment, getting access to health profiles, communication, e-prescription, and labs review.

Admin portal provides an opportunity to create clinicians.

Third-party solutions have been integrated for user management, billing, payment, scheduling, virtual visits, secure messaging, and worklist.

The clinic’s services were moved from ‘standard’ brick and mortar to ‘online’ virtual clinic

The system is launched in one state (New Jersey).

The planned capacity is 18 000 patients for the 1st year

OPPORTUNITIES

The customer plans to cooperate with Artezio to improve the solution’s functionality: add questionnaires for follow-ups (Interim Thyroid Survey), automate business processes management (using BPMN tools, e.g. Camunda), add a role Patient Account Manager (PAM), optimize and improve current functionality.

The service will be launched in three more states (New York, Pennsylvania, Florida) in the nearest future followed by extrapolation of the model to all 50 states.
