Artezio passed an ISO 27001 certification procedure to comply with the best world practices in the area of information security management.
A special audit company completed Artezio’s verification procedure to meet the ISO 27001 standard. The experts confirmed that the software development company complies with the set rules and practices on information security management.
The ISO 27001 standard has precise requirements for ensuring information security, monitoring information security management systems (ISMS), document management, and communication within the ISMS.
“In the IT business, it is essential to follow the key standards that directly affect the quality of services and software products of a company. Artezio regularly undergoes the European audit for compliance with ISO 9001. This standard deals with the quality control of services and products. By meeting ISO 27001, we confirm our responsible attitude to ensuring data security and information protection, in which our clients are also interested. The ISO 27001 certification assures customers that our understanding of information security meets the level of the world standard,” says Andrey Shagalov, Quality Director at Artezio.
The international standard ISO 27001 introduces a broader notion of “information protection.” It is interpreted as ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. The standard implies an effective risk management system, associated with access to information and its storage.
