Today projects and solutions in the sphere of Sharing or Peer-to-Peer Economy are drivers for the software market enhancement. At the same time, not many of them are really socially-oriented. Here in Artezio, we have analyzed the existing IT services for Shared Use and Social Communication and have come to the conclusion that most of them are not really active, have a small community, or solve only specialized tasks. Some of these solutions are either not safe enough or not completely gratuitous. According to our research, over 90% of respondents would like to help others as volunteers if they get access to a reliable, transparent, and user-friendly application to manage such activities.
The Good Citizens solution (tentative title) by Artezio aims to solve this task. From a technical point of view, it is designed as a cross-platform mobile app available for free in Google Play and iTunes. This app will take into account all key requirements of volunteers and contain no advertisement and commercialization opportunities.
The solution allows users to create a request for help, then follow it online and get responses from those who are able to help and make a choice. The app has a unique classifier of different types of help from assistance on the roads or with pets, charity distribution of personal stuff to large social projects (blood donation, medical aid, relief aid, etc.). All requests and replies will be tracked by GPS which helps to choose assistants in the most appropriate way. Each event will be supported by a chat where you can invite more app users if the situation is too complicated for one helper.
We also pay special attention to security issues of our app, therefore we have created a custom verification system with email and sms confirmation. All app users will get points and improve their rating for every good deed they perform. Our motto is “Gratuitous help must be free”, that’s why all requests will be checked for spam and commercial issues.
