Artezio took part at BITKOM Trend Congress (Berlin, November 2012) which brought together key stakeholders to discuss important issues related to the theme “Create, Innovate, Grow”. This event gathered more than 1000 main players from politics, business and the mass media to discuss the Megatrends which will dominate the IT industry leading towards 2020. The topics for discussion were: Smartphones and tablet computers are continuing boom; Social media are changing business and society; Data and Cloud Computing enable completely new applications Social Innovation, Cloud, Mobile and Information sharing.
For the first time BITKOM, in cooperation with Gartner Group, held a session to connect well-established businesses and startups.
The opening speech was delivered by Dr. Philipp Roesler, the Federal Minister of Economics and Technology and the Vice Chancellor of Germany, who emphasized the role politics and IT companies can play in the GDP growth and the importance of the IT industry in the economy of Germany.
Georgios Polatsidis, EVP Clients Services & Solutions, represented Artezio at BITKOM and, while discussing the issues with German IT leaders, emphasized Artezio’s interest in the DACH Region and, more importantly, in the German market. He noted that Artezio’s impressive client base spanning the DACH Region includes such well-known companies as Siemens, Deutsche Bank, SwissComMobile, SwissComFixNet as well as some SMEs – Accarda, IClip, RSK, GTW Management Consulting.
Georgios Polatsidis added that the acceleration of mobile related technologies will course fundamental changes in consumer behavior and communications resulting in the extensive use of Social Media and applications that can enhance the user’s experience.
